Information we collect
In short: we collect what you give us when you use LezzGo, plus some basic technical data that keeps the app working.
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, username, email address or phone number, password and date of birth.
Profile and sports information. Anything you add to your profile, such as your photo, bio, role (player, fan, coach, club), sports, teams, position, skills and achievements.
Content you share. Posts, stories, highlights, photos, videos, comments, likes and the events you create or join.
Messages. The chats you send and receive, so that we can deliver them to the people you are talking with.
Live streams. Video, audio and chat from live sessions you host or take part in.
Location. If you allow it, your approximate or precise location, used to show nearby events, players and content. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.
Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and how you use features in the app.
How we use your information
In short: to run LezzGo, keep it safe and make it better for you.
- Create and manage your account and profile.
- Show your posts, highlights, live streams and events to your audience.
- Deliver messages and notifications.
- Suggest people, teams, events and content that match your sports and location.
- Detect and prevent spam, abuse, fraud and security issues.
- Understand how the app is used so we can fix problems and build new features.
- Contact you about updates, support requests and important changes.
- Meet our legal obligations.
How your information is shared
In short: what you post publicly is public. We never sell your personal information.
- With other users. Your public profile, posts, highlights, live streams and events can be seen by other people on LezzGo, depending on your privacy settings.
- With people you message. Your messages are shared with the people in that conversation.
- With service providers. Trusted companies that help us with hosting, storage, video streaming, analytics, notifications and customer support. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
- For legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or LezzGo.
- Business transfers. If LezzGo is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.
Public content and live streams
Posts, comments, highlights and live streams you make public can be viewed, shared and saved by others, including people outside LezzGo. Please think before you share personal details such as your address, school or phone number.
When you go live, viewers can see and hear what is in your stream in real time. Live streams and their chat may be recorded and kept as highlights if you choose to save them.
Your choices and rights
In short: you are in control of your account and your data.
- Edit or delete your profile information and content at any time.
- Choose who can see your profile, posts and activity in your privacy settings.
- Turn location access and push notifications on or off from your device settings.
- Block or report other users.
- Delete your account from the app settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under local data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA). Contact us to use any of these rights.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we need to keep some of it for legal, security or fraud prevention reasons.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No online service is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.
Children
LezzGo is not intended for children under 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer data, we take steps to make sure it stays protected in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make important changes, we will let you know in the app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
